Viernes 13, da miedo verdad? Pues ahí va la propuesta terrorífica para cerrar la semana y desearos un merecido descanso, antesala del navideño. Esta vez algo para adornar nuestro querido puesto de trabajo; porque al final si vamos a pasar tantas horas más valdrá estar a gusto y si se puede, trabajando en lo que a uno le llena. We are nearly half way! The last push needed comes from a vintage proposal. So if you want to feel like Mariantoniette, but please keep your head, you only have to light this candles; afterwards you can always share some tea and macarons with your friends. Ya casi rozamos el ecuador! El empujón final de la mano de una propuesta con un punto retro. Así que si os queréis sentir cual Mariantonieta, pero conservando la cabeza, sólo tenéis que encender esta vela; después a tomar el té y macarons con las amigas. I love prime numbers  because they can't be diveded, what makes them unique. Like trips, each one of them outstanding caused by our comapanions, our destination, the experience. All right, I didn't find Rudolf the Reindeer, but a Polar Bear can also be our friend and carry back in time our minds to snow, winter, Christam's,...; I am positive that when I tell you his story, you will bring home his friends Jiraffe, Rihno and Bull; animals designed by David Pérez Medina, made from used pallet wood and by mentally handicaped people from Fundación Personas. Pick up your Zodiac and go for Arca de Pallet.

Está bien, no he encontrado al Reno Rudolf; pero digo yo que un Oso polar también puede ser amigo nuestro y nos retrotrae a la nieve, el invierno, Navidad...; además cuando os cuente su historia seguro que le acompañan sus amigos Jirafa, Rinoceronte y Toro; animales diseñados por David Pérez Medina, a partir de madera reciclada de pallets usados y realizados por la personas con discapacidad intelectual de la Fundación Personas. The curiosity kill the cat. That is what I deserve since I followed my friend's suggestion, Cecilia; traped at the online store of Martín Azúa. I suggest that instead of giving the ordinary Christma's box, you pamper your dearest with this contemporary rug full of craftsmanship. Because Sundays are special, an outstanding proposal!

La curiosidad se comió al gato. Pues eso me ha pasado a mí con la sugerencia de mi amiga Cecilia; qué he caído de cuatro patas en la tienda online de Martín Azúa. Yo os sugiero que en lugar de la típica cesta de Navidad, agasajéis a vuestro ser querido con esta alfombra contemporánea llena de artesanía. Porqué los domingos son especiales una propuesta fuera de la norma!

God rested the seventh day, but let's be honest resting is not in our holidays plans; so a mobile is a better reference of our today's lifes. El séptimo día de la creación, Dios descansó; pero durante las fiestas lo de parar quietos queda en la imaginación; así que un móvil sería un símil más real sobre nuestro día a día. A ver qué levante la mano quién no se quiere quedar sin árbol de Navidad, pero no le apetece meterse en un mercado navideño tradicional. Pues bien, desde la tierra de Santa una propuesta finesa. I picture five cubs and a wolf wandering in a winter landscape, don't you? But the days we like are sunnny, blue sky, with snow already fallen (we couldn't ask for more!) and a forest fallen asleep. Lilleputtstudio, all ages suitable, although I have started with child reference, adults will be delighted with their illustrations too!

Los cinco lobitos y la loba ahora debían estar paseando en un paisaje invernal, verdad? Pero los días que nos gustan son con sol, el cielo azul, la nieve recién caída (por pedir que no quede) y un bosque hibernando. Lilleputtstudio, para todos los de la casa; aunque haya empezado con referencias infantiles el estampado os encantará también a los adultos!

Are you done with Christma's lights? Would you believe me if I told you that matchbox will make your day? In my opinion there is a world hidden in ádonde ones; french brand (I know hard to believe with that name, ah?) as a result of mixing a french engineer/artist and a nicaraguan whith an anthropoly background. In diversity, I reckon. Search for them in Nordicthink, your attention please in Barcelona and best design; but be careful they are addictive, a non-stop treasure seekers.

¿Hartos de las luces de Navidad? ¿Y si os dijera qué en una caja de cerillas podéis encontrar la solución? A mi me parece que esconden un mundo las de adónde, marca francesa (sí raro con ese nombre,eh?) resultado de la mezcla de un ingeniero/artista francés y un antropólogo nicaraguense. Porque la diversidad es lo mejor que hay. Buscadlas en Nordicthink, ojo están en Barcelona y con lo mejor de cada casa; pero cuidado que son adictivos, no paras de encontrar tesoros.

Venimos de darnos una vuelta por EEUU, Francia/Sur Africa y ahora le toca a un producto único, local, de Barcelona: la autèntica. Porque yo como Mari, encuentro la tela "cuadro farcell" muy útil, con mucha clase y con historia. Design's Advent Calender: 1st

Sunday first of december 2013, day one in our Advent Calender! With this in mind I will be showing each day a proposal for a guift, for those who like to spend time in their own personalized atmosphere. Also if you want to indulge yourself these special days.

In case we may share the same panic towards crowded Christma's shopping, I have searched for online proposals. Some of them may run out of stock or as it happend with the one showed today, the shop appeared as closed. But as I learned later, what is really happening is that they working on their orders, since they are handmade. So if you like them, run to Etsy, shop ArtsDelight and order your Old Gold Garland, because not all in gold must be flashy.

Domingo día 1 de diciembre 2013, iniciamos el calendario de adviento!Así que me he propuesto enseñar en el blog cada día una idea para un regalo, para los que busquéis personalizar los espacios. También para daros un capricho estas fiestas.

Por si os pasa como a mí y sufrís las aglomeraciones que acompañan las compras navideñas he buscado propuestas on-line. Algunas puede ser que tengan agotado stock o bien como me ha pasado para la propuesta de hoy, pongan que la tienda está cerrada; pero en realidad lo que ocurre es que al realizarse artesanalmente están trabajando en los pedidos; así que si os gusta, rápido a Etsy, tienda ArtsDelight y a por la Guirnalda en dorado antiguo, que no todo el oro tiene porque ser bling bling.
